2009 Calendar is Full
I just booked my last session for this year; I can’t believe my calendar is completely full! God is really blessing our business and I’m so thankful! Please contact me if you’d like to book a session for 2010.
2009 Photo Sessions and Christmas Information
As of today, I only have seven more sessions available for this year (all in November). After those dates are taken, I will not be booking more sessions until January of 2010. If you are interested in booking a session, please check the calendar on my website at www.hollyjoflora.com

New Wedding Collection and New Wedding Products
We have just added a new collection to our wedding packages: The Ultimate Collection
The Ultimate Collection truly has everything a bride and groom could want! You receive an outdoor engagement session including four 5×7 prints and an 8×8 Custom Coffee Table Engagement Book (perfect for display at bridal teas and showers, engagement books contain 30 pages). You also receive a DVD slideshow of your engagement pictures. This DVD is perfect to play at your rehearsal dinner and/or as guests are arriving before your wedding ceremony.
You receive 250 “Save the Date” cards. These 2×3.5 cards have one of your engagement pictures printed on one side and your names, wedding date, ceremony time, and wedding location printed on the other side. This collection also includes an outdoor bridal session with one 11×14 gallery wrap. You also receive seven hours of wedding coverage by Holly Jo Flora and her assistant, 100 4×6, ten 5×7, and five 8×10 prints from your wedding. This collection includes a 16×20 gallery wrap and a 10×10 Custom Coffee Table Wedding Book.
The Ultimate Collection ends with 200 thank you cards. Our 5×7 folded thank you cards (envelopes included) have a picture that you select from either your engagement session or from your wedding day printed on the front and a personalized message from you printed on the inside. These cards are perfect to thank your friends and family for gifts and their time and it also gives them a picture to keep. This collection is $3,600

Photo Wedding Invitations

ATCU Billboard
Lindsey, Dottie, Charlotte, and Lisa work at the Alabama Teachers Credit Union. They are some of the first people that I met when I moved to Fort Payne. I love these ladies! They’re not only beautiful on the outside, they’re gorgeous on the inside too. I am so excited because this is a first for me: pictures for a billboard! Here is a picture of the billboard:
This morning, I shot pictures for the Centre branch of the ATCU and that billboard will be going up sometime in August. I’m so excited!!!
Christmas Sessions
We are so thankful for how God is blessing our business! Flora Photography has grown leaps and bounds since last year. Our calendar is already filling up for the year so I wanted to go ahead and post information about Christmas sessions.
Last year, I really overbooked for Christmas and I determined then that I would not book like that again. So, for this year, I am only booking Christmas sessions in September, October, and November. You can have your session outdoors (if you have a place you’d like for us to go for your setting, that’s great or I have some locations for you to choose from) or I can come to your home and shoot your photos there (around your Christmas tree, in front of your house, etc). I will only schedule one session per day on the Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in those three months.
The last day that I will be shooting sessions for 2009 (other than weddings) is Friday, November 20th. If you’d like to receive your pictures before Christmas, you must have your orders placed by Tuesday, December 1st. Florida, Here I Come!
I will be out of my office Friday, Feb. 20th through Thursday, Feb. 26th. My sister and I are leading the music for a revival at First Baptist Church of Ruskin. I’m also going to shoot some senior portraits while we’re down there. Music, photos, and spending time with my sister…three of my favorite things! I’ll return all messages when I come home on Thursday.
Now is the Time to Book Your Wedding!
We simply LOVE photographing weddings and our 2009 Wedding Calendar is already filling up! We want to inform all of our current clients and hopefully some future clients that Flora Photography will be increasing our wedding package prices effective April 1, 2009. We will honor our current prices for any wedding booked before that date. So now is the time to book your wedding! Any of our brides and grooms who book their wedding dates before April 1st will have the option of upgrading to one of our new “April” collections or keeping the collection that they previously selected. Please remember, your wedding date is not booked until we receive your contract and deposit. Our new packages will offer more hours of coverage, a broader selection of items, and our new “Parent/Grandparent Collection.” Please contact us if you have any questions or for a preview of our upcoming collections.
The Chattanooga Bridal Show
Flora Photography will have a booth at the Chattanooga Bridal Show on January 25th. The show is from 12:00pm – 4:00pm (eastern time). It will be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center and tickets cost $10.00. We will have wedding books, gallery wraps, and enlargements on display. Also, we have 100 gift certificates to give out.
